Initial Fitting & Adjustments
The Boot Lab stands behind every boot sold. The purchase of a new boot comes with a full year of adjustments following the date of purchase. When scheduling an adjustment/follow-up, please come in with solid details of the symptoms of whatever issues you are experiencing, i.e. pain in a specific spot, general looseness, etc. This will help to identify, address, and solve the specific fit issues you are experiencing, many of which are quite common in new boots.
Follow-up adjustments after one year will be subject to our standard $75 appointment fee and labor rate of $125/hour plus materials.
New Boot Fitting Appointment
90 Minute Boot Fitting – $75
If you do not buy a boot with The Boot Lab, your appointment fee covers consultation time. You will not leave empty handed, as we will still recommend or special order a boot for you.
About Marc:
Marc’s ultimate goal is to match the appropriate boots to a given skier based on their unique anatomy, personal skiing style, and ability. Marc has been custom bootfitting since 1989, and as a life-long skier, board-certified Pedorthist, PSIA Rocky Mountain Level III instructor, boot tester for SKI and Skiing magazines’ annual gear reviews, former owner/operator of the Southwest Orthotic Lab in Taos, NM, and a member of MasterFit University’s teaching staff, Marc knows how equipment can assist or hinder a skier’s ability to progress and perform to their potential.
He’s helped hundreds of skiers from international level racers and professional ski instructors to those who are brand new to the sport. Using creative approaches based on years of experience, Marc perfectly dials boots in to address a skier’s comfort, performance, and biomechanics.
