Fake spring hath sprung, y'all.

Friends, it was a great day with warm temps that had us donning short sleeves and shades on the chairlift up. Coming into tomorrow, things are shifting a bit with a fun curveball from Mother Nature. First up, we've got some inbound inclement weather in the form of a bit of r-a-i-n until early morning. Then, to keep everyone on their toes, temps will keep dropping throughout the day. What this means: we are being tactical and smart with our resources tomorrow in order to keep everyone skiing, shredding, and smiling into the weekend, when conditions are slated to be sweeeet, with a mix of sun and snow on the way Fri-Sun.

For Thursday, March 11, we expect to have the West Peak with (F) and (D) lifts and (E) carpet open and accessible. The East Peak (G lift and trails), along with Whiteway Express (C) and Willpower Triple (K) lifts will be closed to preserve snow and allow our grooming team to maximize resources on the west side and get as much groomed as possible. Given the thaw-to-freeze cycle present here, your groomed terrain is going to be the most fun for beginner/intermediate skiers and riders, while the ungroomed/steeps are going to be building character. Expect a firmer and faster surface than the granular snow we saw earlier in the week.

The grooming team will be focused on all West Peak terrain, check back here in the morning for a full report on open West Peak trails.

Expected groomed terrain includes: Wapeka, Way to Go, Wooly Bear, What's Next, Wilbur, White Way, Willpower, Upper Wraparound, Lower Wraparound, Wolf's Prey, Whiskey Jack, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper Warpath, Lower Warpath, Upper Wiseacres, Lower Wiseacres, Upper Whistler, Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Lower Whirlwind, Upper Wolverine, Lower Wolverine, Lower Wheelchair, Warm Up, Wonderama, What, Windfall, Lower Wipeout

See you out there!
