Good morning Windham! We are officially a little over a week into the New Year and we’re enjoying some truly awesome skiing and snowboarding at Windham Mountain Club. Heard from around the lodge, bumping into friends out and about, and this snow reporter’s ski tour headlamp adventure, the surface has been stellar with the hoots and hollers to match.

Today, we’ve got more of that joy in store with comfortable temps in the high 30s throughout the day with a mix of sun and clouds. We’re skiing and snowboarding across 215 acres and 35 open trails. Lifts today will spin from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including: Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Wooly Bear Carpet (E), Westside Six (F), and East Peak Express Quad (G).

Given the mild atmosphere, surface conditions should be a mix of loose granular snow, packed powder, and hardpack. A full slate of freshly groomed trails are ready and waiting thanks to the grooming team; ski patrol plans to drop ropes on Wing’N It this morning, with the upper portion remaining swale-d up and the lower portion sporting some fresh corduroy. Grooming occurred top to bottom across both the West and East Peaks, leaving an array of beginner, intermediate, and advanced groomed terrain for you to choose from. Take your pick from Wanderer, Why Not, Wraparound, Whistler, Wolverine, Windfall, Wonderama, and all lower mountain trails. Wall and Wheelchair will remain ungroomed.
Please be advised Wilbur Park will remain closed today as the crew resets and rebuilds features ahead of the weekend, stay tuned for some exciting features.

Snowmaking is currently off and will return when we have temperatures, it stays mild through the weekend with the next cold snap coming through late Sunday, the team will keep an eye and crank the system up if we can. Deeper cold is expected to come through closer to the MLK weekend.
