Good morning skiers and snowboarders.

Today brings cloudy skies and the warmest temperatures we’ve seen yet this season, with highs climbing into the low 40s. It also lines up with Lunar New Year, welcoming the Year of the Horse. Strength, speed, and a little fire in the belly. If you feel like you’re skiing a touch faster today, we’ll just say you’re channeling that Fire Horse energy.

Snow conditions this morning will be packed powder and hard pack, giving you a firm, edgeable surface for the early runs. As the day warms up, the snow will soften slightly, creating a more forgiving, playful feel by the afternoon. It’s the kind of progression that rewards you for staying out there a little longer.

We’ll have six lifts spinning from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM: Westside Six (F), Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), East Peak Express Quad (G), Whisper Run Carpet (M), and Wooly Bear Carpet (E). With access to both peaks, there’s plenty of terrain to explore and revisit throughout the day.

Our overnight grooming crew refreshed Wraparound, Warpath, Wilbur, Wiseacres, Wolverine, Whistler, Wheelchair, Windfall, Wedel, Whiteway, Wonderama, along with all East Peak trails. Expect clean morning corduroy and consistent coverage across the mountain to start things off right.

Lifts spin until 4:00 PM, and with temperatures this mild, you might find yourself leaving the extra layers behind and turning the day into a friendly challenge to see how many laps you can stack. Warm air and softening snow have a way of keeping you out there longer than planned. We’ll see you on the hill.
