Good morning from Windham Mountain Club. Saturday is here and the mountain is ready.

Mostly cloudy skies and cold temps have the mountain skiing just the way we like it. The snow stayed locked in overnight, and with a few flurries possibly floating through, things should feel consistent, fast, and very January from first chair on.

Today’s forecast tops out around 22 degrees with a west wind at 10 to 15 miles per hour. It’s the kind of setup where edges bite, corduroy holds, and the snow doesn’t change much as the day goes on. Layer up, pull the buff over your face, and settle in for a good one.

Overnight grooming delivered a strong lineup across the mountain, giving you plenty of options to start your day right. Groomed trails today include Wanderer, Why Not, Wapeka, Way to Go, Wooly Bear, Whisper Run, What’s Next, Wilbur, Whiteway, Willpower, Upper Wraparound, Lower Wraparound, Whiskey Jack lower only, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper Warpath, Lower Warpath, Upper Wiseacres, Lower Wiseacres, Upper Whistler skiers right only, Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Upper Wolverine, Lower Wolverine, Upper Wheelchair skiers left only, Wide Connection, Wedel, Warm Up, and Wonderama.

Please note that race training will be taking place on skiers left of Upper Warpath. We ask guests to stay aware of posted signage and share the trail accordingly.

Snowmaking continues as temperatures allow, with crews blowing snow on World Cup and Wingin’ It. The team is also setting sights on Upper Whiskey Jack as the next focus area.

The Mini Park on Wraparound is ready to ride and just got even better, now hosting six new features for a total of twelve. Wilbur is stacked with jump features, making it a great day to take some park laps or check out what’s new.

Lifts running today are the Westside Six, Wonderama Express Quad, Whiteway Express Quad, Wooly Bear Carpet, Whisper Run Carpet, K Lift, and the Enclave Carpet. The East Peak Express Quad will open at 9am once morning preparations are complete.

And because it’s Saturday, the energy keeps going well past first chair. A DJ kicks things off on the patio at 1 PM, followed by live music at Seasons starting at 4 PM to round out the day.
