Good morning skiers and snowboarders. Today brings a very welcome shift as we finally break into the 30s, and after the stretch of cold we’ve had, it truly feels like a gift. Cloudy skies will hang around this morning with snow showers developing later this afternoon, a high near 31°F, and light south-southwest winds setting up a comfortable, classic winter day on the mountain.

Lifts spinning today include East Peak Express Quad (G), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Wonderama Express Quad (C), Westside Six (F), and the Wooly Bear Carpet (E), giving you plenty of access to move around and settle into a great rhythm early.

Snow conditions today will be a mix of packed powder and hardpack, with the slightly warmer temperatures making a noticeable difference. The snow is softening just enough to feel more playful and forgiving while still holding strong underneath for confident edging and smooth carving. It’s one of those days where the snow feels better lap after lap as the mountain settles in.

Our grooming crew was out overnight keeping things dialed in, laying down fresh corduroy on favorites like Wraparound, Warpath, Whistler, Wolverine, Wilbur, and Wiseacres, along with well-prepped East Peak terrain that’s skiing fast and fun. As a few flakes start to fall later today, conditions will stay engaging and wintery from morning through the afternoon.

Go enjoy a full day on the mountain where you won’t need to stop inside just to warm up at all. Take your time, stack the laps, and soak in how good it feels out there today. And if you do decide to take a break, we’ll be waiting for you in the Foodhall with something warm and ready before you head back out for more.
