Good morning Windham!

Alright, alright, alright, happy Thursday and welcome to a day where we might see a little bit of every kind of weather. The wet weather from overnight has given way to dropping temperatures and now, snow showers continuing until late morning! That thermometer will keep going down and give us more snow and sun heading into the weekend.

Today, we’ve got the West Peak open and groomed for you to grab lap after lap, with the Westside Six (F), Whiteway Express Quad (D), and Wooly Bear Carpet (E) open until 4:00 PM. We are keeping the East Side trails and (G) lift closed for today in order to preserve the snowpack. The grooming team focused their efforts on the West side last night to provide the best surface possible come morning; precipitation plus a rapid temperature decrease meant they were facing a firm snowpack. Here at Windham, we time the grooming operations with the real-time weather (as opposed to grooming right when the mountain closes the day prior) in order to give you a top-quality surface that’s fun and fresh. Read: no frozen cord here! Enjoy a mix of loose granular and hardpack conditions today.

Groomers for today includes: Wapeka, Way to Go, Wooly Bear, What's Next, Wilbur, White Way, Willpower, Upper Wraparound, Lower Wraparound, Whiskey Jack, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper Warpath, Upper Wiseacres, Lower Wiseacres, Upper Whistler, Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Lower Whirlwind, Upper Wolverine, Lower Wolverine, Lower Wheelchair, Wedel, Warm Up, Wonderama, What, Windfall.

If you’re wondering about the weekend and beyond, there’s still a ton of snow to shred out there and we’ll be skiing and riding top to bottom! Some trails that are closed today will come back online for the weekend, the team is keeping preservation in mind.

Join us for Windham Parks’ annual Mash and Bash event on Sunday, March 15, a fun, all-day terrain park event hosted by local pro snowboarder John O’Connor. The event raises money for our partners at SHRED Foundation.

See you on the hill!
