Conditions Tuesday December 23rd - 7:30 AM
Snow is back in the forecast for Tuesday, December 23, with steady snowfall through the morning giving way to lingering snow showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will hover right around 30 degrees with light SSW winds at 5 to 10 mph. With 1 to 3 inches expected, the mountain is set up for one of those days that feels good from the first turn and only gets better as the snow keeps falling.
C Lift officially rejoins the lineup this morning, adding to D, F, G, Wooly Bear, and the Whisper Run Carpet. Fresh snow, mellow winds, and solid coverage make it a great day to roam, lap favorites, and lean fully into holiday skiing mode.
Snowmaking crews will be back at it tonight with efforts focused on Wedel and Wonderama, touching up a few key areas without the need for major refreshers. You’ll also notice extra snow added to What’s Next and the base area as teams continue dialing in coverage. A brief warm spike is expected overnight, but colder temperatures return quickly on Wednesday, and with additional chances for snow later this week, it’s starting to feel like the mountain is handing out early Christmas gifts.
Groomers plan to lay down fresh lines tonight on Wanderer, Why Not, Win Tuck, Widgeon, Wing N’ It, Wicked, World Cup, Wapeka, Way to Go, Where’s Charlie?, Wooly Bear, Whisper Run, What’s Next, Wilbur, White Way, and The Wall, setting the stage for smooth, confident turns in the morning.
When it’s time to refuel, make sure to stop into Seasons Mexicana if you haven’t already. If you’re still waiting to try it, this is your sign. The smoky chicken taco does not disappoint.
Have fun and enjoy the snowfall!
