Monday, January 26 - 3:00 PM

Wow ,what a day yesterday was! While the storm has officially moved on, the mountain is still showing off. After 24 inches of fresh snow, we are rolling into a true day-after-storm setup, with many trails refreshed overnight for powdery, fast laps, while others were intentionally left wild to let that storm snow shine. With the coverage from this storm, all terrain is now open, and the mountain feels fully filled in from top to bottom.

Cloudy skies stick around today with temperatures reaching 13°F. Winds out of the WSW at 10 to 15 mph keep things crisp but manageable with proper layers. Everything feels quieter this morning, snowbanks are stacked high, and coverage is deep across the hill.

Overnight, our grooming crew worked through the storm snow to dial in surfaces across the mountain. Expect fresh corduroy on Wanderer, Why Not, Win Tuck, Widgeon, Wing N’ It, World Cup, Wapeka, Way to Go, Where’s Charlie?, Wooly Bear, Whisper Run, What’s Next, Wilbur, White Way, Willpower, Upper and Lower Wraparound, Whiskey Jack, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper and Lower Warpath, Upper and Lower Wiseacres, Upper and Lower Whistler with select lower sections, Mini Wall Bypass, Upper Wolverine, Wide Connection, Upper Wall Street, Warm Up, Wonderama, What?!, Windfall, and Lower Wipeout.

Thanks to the depth from this storm, ungroomed and natural-snow terrain is skiing beautifully with soft, forgiving snow and plenty of texture. As the day goes on, be aware that conditions and terrain will continue to change, especially on natural and less-traveled areas, where snow can move, set up, or get pushed into playful features.

Lifts spinning today include the Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Wooly Bear Carpet (E), Westside Six (F), East Peak Express Quad (G), Willpower Triple (K), Chairlift L, and Carpet M, keeping access smooth and consistent across the mountain.

This is a slow-burn kind of day. Ease into your morning, let your legs wake up, and take advantage of the space and snow. When you need a warm-up, the Foodhall is ready with chili and hot cocoa before you head back out for another lap or three.

The snow has settled, the mountain is filled in, and conditions are exactly where you want them. Day-after-storm riding is here. Enjoy every turn.

Lift Ticket FAQ

How do I check to see if there is availability on the days I want to ski/ride?

Please click here for ticket availability and purchasing.

Ticket availability is subject to capacity restrictions. If rescheduling is not completed in the proper time frame, tickets will be considered expired. Expired tickets hold no value and will not be honored. All lift tickets expire at the end of the 25/26 winter season.

Where can I pick up my lift ticket?
  • To get you out on the mountain quicker this winter we’ve installed Lift Ticket Pick-Up Boxes at the following locations:
    • Outside The Lodge building (1/2 hour prior to lift opening)
    • Inside The Shop, 2nd floor of The Lodge (8am – 5pm)
  • Scan the QR code from your online order to receive your RFID card (lift ticket) at the pick-up box. If you do not have a QR code, stop into the pass office to get your ticket printed.
Where do I put my lift ticket?

Lift Tickets and Passes should be carried on the left side of the rider’s body in an area free from cell phones, credit cards, or other items that may interfere with the RFID scanning process. Please be sure to remove other ski pass media from your person prior to visiting.

If I buy a multi-day ticket, do I have to use the days consecutively?

Yes.

Guests can cancel their winter product reservations (lift tickets, lessons, rentals, and snow tubing) up to 14 days before their arrival for a full refund to their original form of payment by calling Windham Mountain Club Guest Services at 518-734-4300 x8008 or emailing [email protected].

Cancellations within 14 days of the winter product start date are non-refundable. Tickets unable to be used on the designated day of issuance at purchase may be used on another day during the 25/26 winter season; guests will be responsible for any difference in product price for rescheduled days and are subject to a $35 change fee.

Your two-day or three-day lift ticket corresponds with the specific dates you selected and must be used on the selected start date. Guests wishing to reschedule all days of a multi-day lift ticket may do so, subject to availability and cancellation/change policy by contacting Windham Mountain Club Guest Services at 518-734-4300 x8008 or emailing [email protected]. Guests who choose not to use all days of their lift product forfeit the unused day(s) and will not receive a refund. Cancellations or returns for “day two” or “day three” of multi-day lift tickets are not permitted.

Rescheduling of day tickets must take place before the close of business the day prior to the original purchased day. No “day-of” rescheduling may occur, so plan ahead. Ticket availability is subject to capacity restrictions. If rescheduling is not completed in the proper timeframe, tickets will be considered expired. Expired tickets hold no value and will not be honored. All lift tickets expire at the end of the 25/26 winter season.

Why is WMC encouraging purchasing lift tickets in advance?

Purchasing tickets in advance enables guests to skip the ticket office lines and head directly to the lift!

Windham Mountain Club remains committed to providing an elevated on-mountain experience for all guests and capacity will once again be managed for the 25/26 winter season. By limiting the number of tickets sold per day, we’re able to provide an elevated experience.

How far in advance do I need to purchase my lift tickets?

There is no set time frame. The best way to stay up-to-date on ticket availability is by monitoring the ticket availability calendar here.

Are lift tickets transferable?

No. Lift Tickets are day-specific and non-transferable.

Can I purchase a Skyride for sightseeing?

No, Skyride tickets are not available during the winter season.

Do I need a lift ticket if I’m only going to ride the magic carpets?

Yes. All magic carpets are conveyor lifts and require the purchase of a Windham Mountain Club ticket.

Can I buy tickets in person at the window on the day of my visit?

Yes, pending ticket availability. If Windham Mountain Club has reached capacity, no walk-up tickets will be sold. All walk-up tickets are charged the highest daily price. We strongly encourage guests to purchase in advance, online, prior to visiting. Ticket availability is subject to change at any moment and certain dates will sell out.

What happens if there are no tickets available on the day of my desired visit?

If the day desired to visit indicates that tickets are no longer available, we encourage guests to continue to check the availability calendar as tickets may become available. Guests staying at The Outpost will always have access to tickets, even on sold-out days.

How do I purchase tickets for a child who is 6 or under?

6 & under tickets are not available for online purchase, however they can be purchased in person any day of the season with a qualifying adult ticket or pass. 6 & Under tickets are available at a rate of $45, plus a $5 RFID media fee if you do not already have a card. Children must be present at time of purchase.

I can no longer visit on the day I originally purchased. Can I reschedule my lift ticket?

Guests can cancel their winter product reservations (lift tickets, lessons, rentals, and snow tubing) up to 14 days before their arrival for a full refund to their original form of payment by calling Windham Mountain Club Guest Services at 518-734-4300 x8008 or emailing [email protected].
