Good morning Bluebird lovers!

Friday is here and shaping up to be an absolute bluebird stunner. Sun, a few passing clouds, light winds, and a high pushing 29°F? That is chef’s kiss February skiing. With light WNW winds at 5–10 mph, lifts should spin comfortably, and summit views are going to be next-level. If you’ve been waiting for that picture-perfect ski day, this is it. We’re not saying you should rearrange your schedule… but if there were ever a Friday to “suddenly be unavailable,” this would be it.

Packed powder is the name of the game today. Expect crisp, clean corduroy first thing in the morning with that classic winter snap underfoot. Early laps will be highly edgeable and confidence-boosting, and as the sun climbs, surfaces will soften just enough to keep things smooth and playful without losing that packed powder feel we all love. It’s the kind of day where the goggles stay on, the views go forever, and every run feels like it deserves a replay. Absolutely a day to bring out those sunny-day goggles and let it run.

Our grooming team was out overnight laying down fresh stripes across the mountain. You’ll find beautifully groomed conditions on Upper and Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Windfall, Warm Up Road, Warm Up, Wonderama, What?!, Lower Wipeout, Lower Warpath, Upper and Lower Wiseacres, and Whistler Chute. Wall, Old Wolverine, Upper Whirlwind, Whataride Glades, Upper Wipeout, and Way Out will remain ungroomed for those looking to mix in bumps and a more natural ride.

Six lifts will spin from 9 AM to 4 PM: East Peak Express Quad (G), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Westside Six (F), Wonderama Express Quad (C), Wooly Bear Carpet (E), and Lower Warpath Carpet (K), giving you access across both peaks and plenty of room to roam.

Blue skies, packed powder, light winds, and a full winter canvas waiting for you. Stack the morning laps, take the long way down, and make the most of a Friday that feels like it was custom-built for skiing. We’ll see you out there.
