Good morning skiers and snowboarders!

We’re kicking things off under overcast skies with temperatures climbing to a high of 27 degrees. Winds stay light and variable, and while a few flurries may float through, this is shaping up to be a comfortable, cruisy winter morning. It’s the last day we’ll be hanging out in the 20s before a colder front rolls in this weekend, so yes, this officially counts as a warm one around here.

Snow conditions today will be mainly packed powder with sections of hardpack, especially early and on well-traveled trails. Groomed runs will feel firm and fast this morning with great edge hold, then settle into smooth, reliable riding as the day goes on. It’s one of those days where your edges feel good and the mountain does exactly what you want it to do.

Our grooming team put in the overnight work, refreshing a lineup of go-to favorites. Look for clean corduroy on Warpath, Upper and Lower Whistler, Wolverine, Wiseacres, Wraparound, Wanderer, Windfall, What?!, Way Out, Wheelchair, Warm Up, and Wicked. Translation, plenty of reasons to keep taking just one more lap.

Lift service today includes Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Westside Six (F), and K-Lift, keeping things moving and making it easy to bounce around the mountain.

Over in the parks, Wilbur is now stacked with 25 features, and the crew has been busy dialing things in. Whether you’re lapping, learning, or just watching from the chair, there’s a lot happening over there.

All in all, it’s a feel-good winter morning with solid snow, great grooming, and bonus points for comfortable temps. Enjoy this mild winter day while it lasts, because colder temperatures are lining up for the weekend.
