Good Morning from Windham Mountain Club!

It's Day 2 of our winter storm, and the mountain is still twinkling under a soft blanket of flurries! Cloudy skies drift overhead while snowflakes dance through the air, giving everything that fresh, quiet sparkle. Temperatures settle into the low to high teens, with a northwest breeze at 10-15 mph adding that crisp, wintery feel!

Today is made for layering (the cozy, thoughtful kind)! Start with warm base layers, add something fluffy in the middle, and top it off with your favorite winter shell. Toss on a neck warmer, snug mittens, and let yourself feel delightfully bundled as the snow keeps falling around you. Staying warm means more time for laps, longer wander breaks, and fully enjoying everything a snow day has to offer!

Overnight, our grooming crew worked their snowy magic! Fresh corduroy awaits for you on Wanderer, Why Not, Win Tuck, Widgeon, Wing N' It, World Cup, Wapeka, World Cup, Way to Go, Where's Charlie?, Wooly Bear, Whisper Run, What's Next, Wilbur, White Way, Willpower, Upper and Lower Wraparound, Whiskey Jack, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper and Lower Warpath, Upper and Lower Wiseacres, Upper and Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Upper and Lower Wolverine, Lower Wheelchair, Wide Connection, Upper Wall Street, Warm Up, Wonderama, What?!, Windfall, and Lower Wipeout.

Westside Six (F), Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Wooly Bear Carpet (E), and East Peak Express Quad (G) will be spinning and ready to carry you through the flurries. Take a few warm-up laps, pause to watch the snow fall, and enjoy the peaceful hush that settles over the mountain!

When you are ready for a break from the cold, Foodhall is a comfortable stop to warm up and reset. Meet up with your riding crew, take your time, and head back out whenever you are ready for more winter wandering.

With at least 12 inches of fresh snow piling up over the past 24 hours, the mountain feels fully tucked into winter! Snow continues to drift gently through the air, the slopes invite soft, playful turns, and the day unfolds at an easy, unhurried pace. Take your time, savor the moment, and enjoy a beautifully cozy snow day on the mountain. We will SKI you out there!
