We are more than halfway through the week and headed towards a weekend with snow in the forecast! With over 230 acres of terrain open and more on the way, there’s fantastic skiing and riding in our future.

The snow surface is consisting mostly of packed powder with areas of hardpack underneath this softer layer. Tomorrow there’s more terrain for everyone in your family: wide groomers where you can send arcs from summit to base, ungroomed conditions on Wicked, Wall, and Upper Wheelchair, and friendly green cruisers like Wonderama and Wanderer. In case you missed it, Wildcat opened with some signature swales for you to live out your wilderness bowl dreams. The ski patrol team will be assessing Wolf’s Prey in the AM for skiability, check back here in the morning for an update.

The grooming crew will be out tonight hitting all the classics, we’re dressing up in corduroy come morning will a full slate of grooming top-to-bottom on East and West Peak. Please note Lower Warpath will be closed tomorrow for a daytime park crew build to prep for bordercross features for weekend training. Snowmaking crew is hitting up Lower Wheelchair and Wolf’s Prey and will switch to Wicked when resources allow. Stay tuned.

We’ll be spinning the Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Wooly Bear Carpet (E), Westside Six (F), East Peak Express Quad (G), and the Willpower Triple (K) tomorrow.

The temperatures are rising slightly tonight but we are headed for an arctic outbreak through the weekend, with reported big snowfall coming our way Sunday into Monday. Make it another three-day weekend?

See you up here!
