Happy Hump Day skiers and riders!

Wednesday is bringing mild winter temperatures and an easy midweek feel on the mountain. Highs will hover right around 40 degrees with a light southwest breeze at 5 to 10 mph, making it a comfortable day to get out for some laps.

With the warmer temps and moisture in the mix, snow will start out firmer and gradually soften as the day goes on. Groomed trails will ski more spring-like, especially at lower elevations and on well-traveled runs. This is a smooth-turns, take-your-time kind of day. Waterproof layers are a solid call, and having a dry backup never hurts.

Cloud cover may keep the light a bit flat at times, so tossing an extra lens in your pocket is a smart move to stay comfortable as conditions shift.

Lifts spinning today include Westside Six (F), Whiteway Express Quad (D), Wonderama Express Quad (C), East Peak Express Quad (G), Wooly Bear Carpet (E), and K Lift (K), offering plenty of access across the mountain.

Our grooming team was back out overnight refreshing the same wide stretch of terrain that skied so well today. Please see the grooming report attached for full details. Groomed trails include Wanderer, Why Not, Win Tuck, Widgeon, Wing N’ It, World Cup, Wapeka, Way to Go, Where’s Charlie?, Wooly Bear, Whisper Run, What’s Next, Wilbur, White Way, Willpower, Upper Wraparound, Lower Wraparound, Whiskey Jack, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper Warpath, Lower Warpath, Upper Wiseacres, Lower Wiseacres, Upper Whistler, Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Upper Wolverine, Lower Wolverine, Upper Wheelchair, Wedel, Upper Wall Street, Warm Up, Wonderama, Windfall, Lower Wipeout, and Way Out.

Snowmaking will remain offline with the mild temperatures, but coverage continues to hold up well across open terrain. All in all, it’s a solid hump day setup for cruisy turns, consistent conditions, and a few extra laps before calling it a win.

Take it slow, enjoy the softer snow, and make the most of a mellow Wednesday on the hill.
