Conditions Tuesday December 16, 7:30 AM
Good morning Windham. We’re stepping into a beauty of a Tuesday with temps starting at 13 degrees and rising to 28 under partly cloudy skies and low winds. The sunshine and cold air might do their best to wake you up, but let’s be honest, you’re still grabbing a cup of joe from the Foodhall before that first lap.
We’ll be spinning the Whiteway Express Quad (D Lift), the Westside Six (F Lift), and the Wooly Bear Carpet today, getting you where you need to go for a full day on snow.
Our grooming team laid down fresh lines across a strong range of terrain. Today’s groomed trails include Wooly Bear, What’s Next, White Way, Upper Wraparound, Lower Wraparound, Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper Whistler, Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Upper Wolverine, Lower Wolverine, Wide Connection, Warm Up, Windfall, and Lower Wipeout. Fresh stripes everywhere you want them, the kind that make you feel like you suddenly ski better than you actually do.
Over on East Peak, our snowmaking crew is hard at work building coverage on Wanderer, Why Not, and Wapeka. Every burst of cold air lets us stack on more progress, and this week’s weather is pushing us closer to bringing more terrain online.
We’re also looking ahead to start building out Wilbur Park later this week. If you haven’t signed up for our park progression event Ignite the Light happening Sunday, now’s the time! It’s one you don’t want to miss, whether you’re learning your first feature or leveling up for the season.
It’s a crisp, sunny morning built for cruising, smiling under your buff, and maybe even pretending this is the run where you finally carve like the pros. We’ll see you out there.
