Conditions Friday, December 26 - 3:30PM
Today delivered exactly what winter ordered: cold temps, solid riding, and that quiet-before-the-storm feeling across the mountain. Snow is beginning to move in, and the energy on the hill is unmistakable.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, we’re expecting a healthy 7–11 inches of fresh snow to stack up overnight into Saturday. Consider this a very late Christmas gift from Mother Nature, delivered in full winter mode and ready to be unwrapped at first chair. Set those alarms so you are here by 8:00am when lifts run, grab your coffee, and be ready to get after it early. Fresh snow, early chairs, and the kind of morning you remember all season. Tomorrow is not a sleep-in day.
Overnight grooming is planned across much of the mountain, including Why Not, Wapeka, Way to Go, Wooly Bear, Whisper Run, What’s Next, Wilbur, White Way, Willpower, Upper and Lower Wraparound, Whiskey Jack (lower only), Wall Street, Warpath Chute, Upper and Lower Warpath, Upper Wiseacres, Upper and Lower Whistler, Mini Wall Bypass, Upper and Lower Wolverine, Wide Connection, Warm Up, and Windfall. For those looking to charge something a little more raw, The Wall and Wedel will remain natural, offering untouched snowfall.
Wanderer and Wonderama will remain under snowmaking but are look good for opening soon.
