Merry Christmas, Windham!
It’s shaping up to be a great day on the slopes, with comfortable, mild temperatures and an abundance of snow thanks to overnight snowmaking across the West Peak. We’re skiing and riding 148 open acres of terrain, with 25 trails open today and 5 lifts spinning today from 9:00am to 4:00pm: Westside Six (F), Wonderama Express Quad (C), Whiteway Express Quad (D), East Peak Express Quad (G), and the Wooly Bear Carpet (E).
We’ve got a mild day today, cold continues with dropping temps into the weekend and a forecast calling for snow, with a system coming in Friday to Saturday morning with projected 3-6”.
The snow grooming crews were out smoothing terrain across the entire mountain last evening, grooming work took place on all favorite top-to-bottom routes down: check out prime corduroy on Windfall -> Lower Wipeout, Wolverine, Whistler, Wraparound, Wrap -> What’s Next and Way to Go, Whiteway, Wooly Bear; and Why Not over on the East Peak. Warpath and Wall are ungroomed.
Our snowmaking elves laid down fresh flakes across the lower mountain including Lower Wraparound, Whiteway, Wilbur, and Warmup; crews had snowguns firing on Wedel and Wonderama and will look to shift work over to Wanderer on the East Peak later this afternoon. Stay tuned for new trail openings!
Park hounds can check out two new medium features over in Wilbur Park.
Can’t wait to see you out there!
